Hey ya, welcome back! Today, we will continue learning about what and who God says we are in Him, in the series, “If At First You Don’t Succeed, Try & Try Again.” I pray the following scriptures serve as reassurance of God’s love as we continue our journey of self discovery in Jesus. Let’s begin!
“For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb.” -Psalm 139:13
–>God says you are UNIQUE.<–
Think of it this way…He is the chef and you are the entree; He knows what He put inside you, how much of it He used, and exactly how He chose to cook it all up. There is nothing that He doesn’t already know about you because you are his personal craftsmanship; uniquely designed and created for His purpose.
“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above–spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].” -Ephesians 2:10
–>God says you are SPECIAL.<–
He created you to be a unique individual; having your own designated gifts and traits that make you who you are. [Remember, He’s the chef, you’re the entree….let Him cook!]
“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.” -Isaiah 40:31
–>God says you are STRONG.<–
He knows that you will face hardships, but He promises that He will provide you with the strength needed to carry on. In moments where you feel weak, you must look to Him, for he is your source of strength!
“Because you are precious in My sight, You are honored and I love you, I will give other men in return for you and other peoples in exchange for your life.” -Isaiah 43:4
–>God says you are PRECIOUS.<–
His love for you is so great, He has deemed you as precious before His sight; being important, rare, and of high value. To God, you are an irreplaceable gem!

“My frame was not hidden from You, When I was being formed in secret, And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth.” -Psalm 139:15
“But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A CONSECRATED NATION, A [special] PEOPLE FOR GOD’S OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” -1 Peter 2:9
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].” -2 Timothy 1:7
“But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered [for the Father is sovereign and has complete knowledge].” -Matthew 10:30
