How Do We Know God Loves Us? – Week 4: …they are weak but He is STRONG.

Published on

Hey youngins and welcome to our final week of “How Do We Know God Loves Us?”

During this series we have covered the life and purpose of Jesus along with how He says we are to conduct [behave] ourselves in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. Today, we will close things out with a discussion on His protection and guidance over our lives. Let’s begin!

Throughout the bible, we see many examples of God’s protection over His people.  Whether it was David and Goliath [1 Samuel 17:40-51], Daniel and the lions [Daniel 6:16-23] or Jonah and the whale [Jonah 2:1-10]…God was present for it all.  He parted seas [Exodus 14:21-31], quieted storms [Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41, Luke 8:22-25] and multiplied provision [food, drink–Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:30-44, Luke 9:10-17, John 6:1-14]. He also assigned tasks and delegated assignments [Exodus 3:1-22, Joshua 1:1-9, Genesis 6:13-22], with His biggest assignment going to His strongest soldier; Jesus, who was sent to give His life to PROTECT OURS [John 3:16].

From small challenges to enormous feats [achievements], GOD has never abandoned or forsaken [discarded] us.

So when life gets tough, and you need a reminder, always remember…WHEN WE ARE WEAK, HE IS STRONG!!

“GOD IS our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble.” -Psalm 46:1

Interactive Activity: Each child gets assigned a letter(s) of the course title for that week and designs it to their liking. These letters will then be collected, along with the prior weeks letters and used to complete the creation of the “Jesus Loves Me” bulletin board.
